We hope you enjoy our Bomberger’s Declaration Review! So, I am assuming that everyone knows that Bomberger’s Declaration is made by Michter’s? Shenk’s, too? But, do you know the history of the names? They both refer to the distillery that would eventually become the original Michter’s distillery. That’s the Michter’s Distillery which was in Pennsylvania, not the current Kentucky one, which is of fairly recent construction.

Please enjoy our Basil Hayden Toast Review Basil Hayden Toast is a completely new bourbon from Beam Suntory, and a permanent addition to the Basil Hayden line. In fact, Basil Hayden has been rebranded to be more upscale. Beam-Suntory dropped the “s” from the name (the brand was called Basil Hayden’s) and upgraded the packaging, which I think looks pretty nice.

Owner and first distiller Kent Rabish started Grand Traverse Distillery way back in 2005, when he got the idea to open Northern Michigan’s first craft distillery. They use local grains and distill, age and bottle every spirit that carries the Grand Traverse name.
