But First, Here’s What’s New on BourbonObsessed.com!

We’ve got a few new reviews this week:

  • Lasso Motel Whiskey burst onto the scene with a whole bunch of finished and unfinished whiskeys a couple of months ago. The brand was founded by drinks industry veteran Devin Odell, President of Dynasty Spirits. Devin wanted to add a high end bourbon line to his portfolio, and thus this brand was born. This past week we reviewed two of the straight bourbons. Both were quite good, and at a reasonable price point. Read all about them in our Lasso Motel 8-Year Kentucky Straight Whiskey Review and our Lasso Motel 4-Year Kentucky Straight Whiskey Review.
  • Four Branches is the only spirits company founded by veterans of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines. To begin with, the founders blend and bottle their bourbon at the Bardstown Bourbon Company. Since their bourbon was first released about a year and a half ago, the company has raised and donated over $400,000 to nonprofit organizations supporting veterans and first responders. Furthermore, they were recently featured on the Today Show! And to top it all off, the bourbon is very good, too! Read all about them and their bourbon in our Four Branches Founders Blend Bourbon Review and History.
  • Lux Row Distillers have expanded their bourbon line with their new Bourbon Finished in PX Sherry Casks. Ray Marcano enjoyed this bourbon and you can learn more in his Lux Row PX Sherry Cask Finished Bourbon Review.
