Evan Williams Pegasus Kentucky Derby Festival Bottle for 2025
Evan Williams Bourbon Experience to Release Annual, Special Edition Kentucky Derby Festival Single Barrel Bourbon Pegasus Bottle
The 2017 Vintage, 106 proof Bourbon is dipped in pink wax, one of the Derby Festival’s official colors
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – February 12, 2025 – As an official sponsor of the Kentucky Derby Festival for the ninth consecutive year, the Evan Williams Bourbon Experience will release a special edition bottle of Evan Williams Single Barrel Bourbon sold with a commemorative 53rd Edition Gold Pegasus Pin beginning Thursday, February 13.
The Evan Williams Pegasus Bottle Is Dipped In Pink Wax
Dipped in an iridescent pink wax, the bottle features a special face label with the coordinating Kentucky Derby Festival logo and includes an official 2025 Pegasus Pin in an envelope attached to each bottle. The hand-dipped, limited-edition bottles will be available for purchase at the Evan Williams Bourbon Experience for $89.99 and at select area retailers while supplies last. Pegasus Pins will also be sold exclusively at the Experience through March 1.
The limited edition 2017 vintage is bottled at 106 proof. A bright copper color, this release opens with notes of black cherry and molasses on the nose followed by that same cherry and sorghum sweetness on the palate. The finish is medium to long with notes of cinnamon, barrel char and green pepper corn spice. Each bottle of Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage Bourbon contains the exact day it was put in an oak barrel to age, the barrel number, and the date it was bottled.
