The Jim Beam Distillery Gets Renovated
Have you visited the James B. Beam Distilling Co. (aka the Jim Beam Distillery) recently? They were closed for quite some time during 2020 and 2021, and during that time they were busy doing renovations. Late last year, Jim Beam opened up again to visitors, and I really love what they have done with the place!
A Snowy Visit To Jim Beam
We spent some time at Jim Beam on a snowy Friday a couple of weeks ago, and had a chance to experience first-hand their rejuvenated visitor experience. While not all of the Jim Beam Distillery tours are available yet, there is still plenty to do. There’s an opportunity to learn about Beam’s history from their display in the new American Outpost, to shop in the large gift shop, or to take a deep dive with the Beam Made Bourbon Tour . Of course, there are also ample opportunities to taste some Beam bourbons! The day can be topped off with lunch and cocktails in their new restaurant, The Kitchen Table. They have added some great interactive exhibits on the tour as well.
Check Our Full Write Up!
We have a full write up about our visit and Jim Beam Distillery Tour, with around two dozen photos, on BourbonObsessed.com. We also take a peak inside the new Fred B. Noe Distillery, which is really cool. Check it out via the link or directly on our site in the distillery reviews section. The write up has lots of details, so grab your coffee or a pour of bourbon and settle down for nice relaxing few minute adventure!
Then & Now – The Jim Beam American Stillhouse Becomes The James B Beam American Outpost
These photos show the Jim Beam American Stillhouse back in 2019 before its renovation, and the James B. Beam American Outpost of today. We have been fortunate to visit the Jim Beam Distillery both before and after its renovation and transformation into the James B. Beam Distilling Co. In the photos, I paid homage to the introduction to one of my favorite TV series. Do you know which one? (spoiler alert: It’s Supernatural)
Check out our Jim Beam Distillery Tour write up and then go for a visit yourself! Cheers!
