Lawrenceburg, KY (03/02/2026) – Spring in Kentucky means thundering hooves, big hats, mint juleps… and roses. Lots of roses.

Right on cue, Larrikin Bourbon Co. is releasing the 2026 batch of Rosewater Bourbon — a bold, limited spring release built for racing season.

Larrikin’s Rosewater Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey 2026 starts with a 6-year-old bourbon and gets proofed with distillery brewed rosewater.

Yes — Rosewater.

Founder and distiller Greg Keeley picked up a love for rosewater during military service in the Middle East and South Asia. Being a larrikin, he figured that if roses belong anywhere in Kentucky, why not bourbon?

We make our rosewater the old-fashioned way — real rose petals and spring water, brewed in small batches in a 10-gallon pot using oversized, petal-stuffed tea bags. No extracts. No shortcuts.

Getting it right took some tinkering. Not too floral. Not too sweet. Not too weird. Just right.

Availability and Technical Specifications

The result? A rich, unique bourbon with subtle earthy and floral notes. It’s made for sipping neat, mixing into a Derby cocktail, or raising a glass to the horse you bet on because it had a cute name.
