Little Book Chapter 9 “None for Granted” Announced

Little Book Chapter 9 “None for Granted” is the latest installment in Freddie Noe’s annual limited-edition series. This 2025 release blends five Kentucky whiskeys—three traditional bourbons aged 7–11 years, an 8-year-old rye, and an 8-year-old brown rice bourbon previously featured in Chapter 4. One of the 7-year bourbons was finished in toasted barrels, while another was fermented longer and distilled to a lower proof to enhance fruit notes. Bottled at 121.8 proof, “None for Granted” pays tribute to the founding flavors of American whiskey and is priced at $159.99.

Little Book Chapter 9, “None for Granted” pays homage to the founding flavors that made modern American Whiskey.

According to Freddie Noe, “None for Granted” is his way of paying homage to the founding flavors that made modern American whiskey. “Chapter 9 takes us back several decades, to an era when whiskey as we know it was just finding its feet. As possibilities were explored and foundations were laid, a certain profile began to emerge—one built on brown sweets, the comforting warmth of vanilla, creamy caramel, and big oak.”

““None for Granted” celebrates these founding flavors: the ones that are still the backbone of American whiskey today. After experimenting with several blends, the team landed on the final profile: five unique whiskeys blended into a viscous, golden liquid. Each pass of the nose and every sip brings out another layer.  Ripe apple. Butterscotch. Baking spice. And plenty others you’ll discover for yourself.”

According to the Robb Report, the 8-year-old bourbon was made with brown rice and was previously used at four years old in Little Book Chapter 4. One of the 7-year-old bourbons was fermented for five days instead of the usual three and distilled to a lower proof point, which is said to enhance fruit notes on the palate. The other was finished in a toasted barrel.
