New Bourbon Releases
Woodinville Single Barrel Cask Strength 7-Year Bourbon and 100% Rye
Woodinville Whiskey is rolling out its Single Barrel Bourbon Aged 7 Years and Single Barrel 100% Rye Aged 7 Years nationally for the first time. Both are distilled at the Woodinville distillery using grain grown for the company by the Omlin Family Farm in Quincy, Washington, then barreled and aged in private barrel houses in Central Washington. The bourbon has a mash bill of 72% corn, 22% rye and 6% malted barley, while the rye is made from 100% rye. Each selected barrel is at least seven years old and bottled at cask strength, so proof varies by barrel. Both whiskeys have an SRP of $69.99 each, with an average single barrel producing approximately 180 bottles. Beginning in August, they will be available nationally at retailers, online and at Woodinville’s tasting rooms in Woodinville and Quincy, Washington. For further details, read the full press release and read my Woodinville Single Barrel Cask Strength 7 Year 100% Rye Review.
Garrison Brothers Announces Hye Rye Pre-Sale
Garrison Brothers has announced its first pre-sale opportunity for Hye Rye Bourbon Whiskey, one of the distillery’s most coveted and hardest-to-find releases. Hye Rye first debuted on December 5, 2020, in recognition of the 87th anniversary of the repeal of Prohibition in America and in celebration of founder Dan Garrison’s birthday. That first release was available only at the distillery and yielded 1,000 bottles, each priced at $99.99.
The pre-sale will run July 27-August 10 on the distillery’s e-commerce website, with customers able to purchase up to four bottles at $99.99 each. Bottles must be picked up in person at Garrison Brothers Distillery in Hye, Texas, in October 2028. Pickup parties and events will be planned and announced as the release date approaches. Read the press release for all of the details!
Bardstown Bourbon Company Announces Victoria Pineapple Barrel Finish
Victoria Pineapple Barrel Finish from Bardstown Bourbon Company begins with a custom blend of Indiana distilled 10- and 11-year-old bourbons and 11-year-old rye married and matured in Caribbean-sourced pineapple rum casks. Letting the custom whiskey blend mature for 27 months, fresh pineapple was added to the barrels, mirroring the process of the original rum’s creation to reveal the tropical notes already developing in the whiskey. Finally, toasted oak staves were added at the end to round out and balance the sweetness. Available in extremely limited quantities of fewer than 350 9L cases, Victoria Pineapple Barrel Finish Whiskey will be available exclusively in Kentucky – including the Bardstown Bourbon Co. distillery and Louisville Tasting Room – beginning July 24, 2026 for a suggested retail price of $139.99. It is bottled at 106 proof. For more information, read the press release.
Old Forester 117 Series Triple Char Opens a New Chapter on Main Street
Old Forester unveils Triple Char, the newest expression in The 117 Series and the first release crafted entirely from whiskey distilled at Old Forester Distillery on Louisville’s historic Main Street. Triple Char is matured in barrels that are charred three times longer than Old Forester’s standard specification. It is then bottled at 115 proof. The limited release is available at the Old Forester Distillery and select Kentucky retailers for a suggested retail price of $64.99 per 375 mL bottle. For more information, read the press release.
Bulleit ’87 Whiskey Blends Bourbon and Rye
Bulleit ’87 is the brand’s first new core expression since the debut of Bulleit 95 Rye in 2011. This whiskey was designed to be sipped neat to showcase the unique flavor characteristics, and marries bourbon and rye whiskeys in one balanced blend. Complementing Bulleit Bourbon and Bulleit 95 Rye in Bulleit’s three-bottle core line-up, Bulleit ’87 brings together the distinctive qualities of both spirits in one new bottle.
Bulleit ’87 is bottled at 90 proof and 45% ABV, with each whiskey component developed specifically for its role in the blend. The bourbon is distilled, barreled, and aged in Shelbyville, Kentucky. The rye is distilled and aged in Indiana before heading to Shelbyville. Both the bourbon and rye are aged for a minimum of four years, finished separately in their original barrels with toasted American oak and French oak staves for four to six weeks, then blended together and bottled in Shelbyville. The suggested retail price for Bulleit ’87 is $29.99 for a 750mL bottle, in line with Bulleit Bourbon and Bulleit 95 Rye, and it will be available at select retail stores nationwide beginning September 2026. Read the full press release here.
Bib & Tucker 8-Year-Old Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon Arrives September 2026
Bib & Tucker will release Bib & Tucker 8-Year-Old Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon nationally beginning September 2026, a 100-proof expression aged twice the four-year minimum the bottled-in-bond designation requires. It was distilled at Tennessee Distilling Group in Columbia, Tennessee (DSP-TN-21029), and aged for eight years. Apprentice Blender James Joseph stewarded the 8-Year-Old Bottled-in-Bond under Master Blender Alan Kennedy in his first release for the brand. Joseph chose and blended whiskeys from mature barrels distilled during the spring 2018 season, selecting casks that produced balance and character. The Tennessee high-rye bourbon is charcoal-mellowed through the Lincoln County Process and bottled with minimal non-chill filtration. It will be available year-round nationally at a suggested retail price of $64.99 for a 750mL bottle. Read the press release here.
Old Overholt Extra Aged Cask Strength 11YR Rye – 2026 Edition
Old Overholt Extra Aged Cask Strength 11YR Rye – 2026 Edition is the fourth annual release in the series. The 11-year, unfiltered, cask-strength American rye was distilled and barreled in spring 2014 and laid down in three distinct warehouses in Clermont, Kentucky. Released once a year in small quantities, this year’s release is bottled at 125.6 proof with an SRP of $109.99 for a 750mL bottle. The first three editions were a 10-year at 121 proof in 2023, an 11-year at 107.4 proof in 2024 and a 12-year at 117 proof in 2025. Read the full press release.
Editor’s Note: I really thought this would be a 13-year rye, but it looks like we are going back to 11-year.

Dancing Goat Distillery has introduced Stillman’s Sonder 10-Year Straight Bourbon Whiskey and 10-Year American Single Malt Whiskey, two 10-plus-year whiskeys created from orphaned experimental stocks distilled at MGP in Indiana between 2010 and 2016 and subsequently acquired and curated by the Maas family. The bourbon was aged in Andean and American oak, with double-oaked components and oxidation encouraged through short fills and vatting, and is bottled at 94 proof. The American single malt was distilled in Indiana and aged in Wisconsin before undergoing three rounds of blending, re-barreling and finishing in virgin oak, ex-bourbon, Wisconsin brandy, Cognac and Calvados casks. It is bottled at 96.4 proof. Both expressions are available online and from select retailers for an SRP of $70 per 750ml bottle. Read the full press release.
