New Bourbon Releases For August 15, 2026

Jack Daniel’s High Angel’s Share Straight Tennessee Whiskey

Jack Daniel’s Distillery Series High Angel’s Share Straight Tennessee Whiskey is the 17th selection in the brand’s line of experimental whiskeys. It begins with traditional Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey laid down in 2016 and rested atop Coy Hill on the top floor of Barrelhouse 1-13 for a high angel’s share maturation. As the barrels rested in the highest reaches of the barrelhouse, an increased amount of whiskey was lost, presenting a unique concentration of flavors within the remaining spirit. Selected by Jack Daniel’s Whiskey Taster Dale McGee, it is bottled at a batch proof of 138.4 in 375mL bottles. It became available exclusively in Tennessee and at the White Rabbit Bottle Shop at the Jack Daniel Distillery earlier this month for a suggested retail price of $44.75. Read my review!

Stetson Bourbon

Stetson Bourbon is a new Kentucky straight bourbon created through “the first-ever collaboration between two of Kentucky’s most respected producers,” Green River Distilling Co. and Bardstown Bourbon Company. Developed with Kentucky Master Blender Dan Callaway, it is a proprietary high-rye blend aged an average of seven years. The bourbon is bottled at 100 proof and is available through the brand’s website and at select Texas retailers for $70, with broader distribution planned. Its mash bill is 78% corn, 13% rye and 9% malted barley, and it is bottled at 100 proof in APW’s signature 200mL flask. Listed purchase options include a single bottle for $50, two bottles in a collectible box for $99.99, the collectible two-pack with an additional Lot No. 6 bottle for $144.99, and a $139.98 bundle pairing the Lot No. 6 two-pack with a three-pack of 7-year-old, 92-proof APW Original. asspocketwhiskey.com/.
