New Bourbon Releases News For July 17, 2026

But First, Here’s what’s new on BourbonObsessed.com!

This past week, I reviewed a couple of ice makers:

  • ecozy Clario Block 2″ Large Ice Cube Maker Review I’ve previously reviewed ecozy’s larger, multi-ball and single ball clear ice makers, so I was eager to see how their compact square cube model performs. The Clario Block 2″ Large Ice Cube Maker trades the sphere-making design of ecozy’s prior models to focus entirely on churning out high-clarity 2-inch square ice cubes perfect for the home bar. Read my review to see if this clear square ice maker is the right fit for your countertop and your favorite pour.
  • ecozy Vaultico One Plus 2.4″ Clear Ice Ball Maker Review I’ve previously evaluated ecozy’s larger, multi-ball clear ice makers, so I was eager to see how their most compact model holds up. The Vaultico One Plus drops the larger footprint to focus entirely on churning out single, high-clarity 2.4-inch ice spheres perfect for the home cocktail enthusiast. Read my review and real-world testing notes to see how the unit operates and how these ice balls perform in a glass of bourbon.

Starlight Distillery Marks 25th Anniversary with Reserve Brandy and Bourbon

Starlight Distillery is marking a quarter century of family craftsmanship with the release of two of its most anticipated and limited spirits to date: the 20-Year Reserve Brandy and the 10-Year Reserve Bourbon. Celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2026, the Huber family-owned distillery is honoring its legacy of innovation, patience, and dedication to American craft spirits with these milestone releases, each showcasing decades of expertise, estate-grown ingredients, and a commitment to producing world-class whiskey and brandy in Southern Indiana.

The 20-Year Reserve Brandy is limited to 150 bottles and bottled at 86.3 proof, marking a quarter-century of Huber family brandy-making. The 10-Year Reserve Bourbon is bottled unfiltered at a cask strength of 120.4 proof, exactly as it came out of the barrel, with only 100 bottles available. Prices are not available. Read all about these releases here.

Heaven Hill Introduces Nine-Year Bottled-in-Bond Double Mash Bourbon

Heaven Hill Distillery proudly announces the launch of Heaven Hill Bottled-in-Bond Double Mash, a new expression that brings together two distinct mash bills in one Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon. A first-of-its-kind release*, Heaven Hill Bottled-in-Bond Double Mash unites two-thirds traditional Bourbon mash bill (78% corn, 10% rye and 12% malted barley) with one-third Wheated Bourbon mash bill (68% corn, 20% wheat and 12% malted barley), both aged for nine years and bottled at 100 proof in accordance with the strict standards established by the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. Heaven Hill Bottled-in-Bond Double Mash will be available beginning August 2026 at a suggested retail price of $49.99 in limited quantities nationwide. Read the full press release.

Editor’s Note: Throughout the press release for this bourbon, Heaven Hill uses terms like “First-of-Its-Kind”, “Innovative” and “Entirely New”. It is not clear what Heaven Hill is referring to. Other distilleries have blended together traditional and wheated mash bills, such as Lux Row’s Daviess County Bourbons and Penelope’s Four Grain Bourbon, and other distilleries have “Four Grain” bottled in bond bourbons, such as E.H. Taylor Four Grain, Laws Four Grain Bonded Bourbon and Hard Truth’s Four Grain Bottled in Bond. However, I am not sure if there is a bonded four grain bourbon made by blending two mash bills, so that may be what they are referring to as unique.

1792 Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey and 1792 XV Join the Barton 1792 Lineup

Barton 1792 Distillery has introduced two new annual releases. 1792 Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey is the brand’s first straight rye expression and a permanent addition to the portfolio. Made with the brand’s bourbon yeast and rye grains sourced from Canada, Europe and the northern United States, it is bottled at 100 proof and available now in select markets for $39.99 per 750 mL bottle. 1792 XV is the oldest age-stated bourbon in the portfolio and the brand’s first cask-strength expression. Aged for 15 years in virgin charred American white oak barrels, it is bottled uncut and unfiltered at 124.2 proof. The 1-liter release is available through Global Travel Retail at select airports, including LAX, SFO and ICN, for $249.99. 1792bourbon.com

Maker’s Mark Launches Airport-Exclusive Artist Series

Maker’s Mark today announced a global travel retail exclusive series featuring custom, city-inspired labels designed by acclaimed artist Alexandra Pacula. Available for a limited time in select airports, the bespoke Maker’s Mark bottles are inspired by famous destinations. The Maker’s Mark Artist Series – City Edition will be available beginning in Sydney (SYD), Melbourne (MEL), Singapore (SIN) and Seoul (ICN) airports in July, followed by London (LHR, LGW, STN) and Paris (CDG) in August. The series will continue to roll out in Dubai (DXB), Delhi (DEL), Mumbai (BOM), and in the United States in New York (JFK) and Los Angeles (LAX) in September. Read the full press release to learn more! (price and proof not provided)

Editor’s Note: The press release doesn’t provide any details about the bourbon, so I am assuming that the bottles contain classic Maker’s Mark, and that this release is really about the labels.

Jackson Purchase Kentucky Select and Bottled in Bond Bourbons

Jackson Purchase Distillery is following last year’s debut release with two new bourbon expressions, both produced entirely at their Hickman distillery. Created by Master Distiller Craig Beam and Head Distiller Terry Ballard, Jackson Purchase Kentucky Select Bourbon is a Kentucky-exclusive release bottled at 108 proof with a suggested retail price of $64.95. Jackson Purchase Bottled in Bond Bourbon is bottled at 100 proof and will sell for $49.95. Whiskey JYPSI Tonewood: Vol. 1 and Tonewood: The Collective

Whiskey JYPSI and Gibson created Tonewood by reversing a familiar relationship between guitars and whiskey. The two limited-edition whiskeys are finished with toasted maple tonewood offcuts from Gibson’s guitar-building process. Whiskey JYPSI Tonewood: Vol. 1 is built from older whiskey stocks, including 20-year-old straight bourbon and 14-year-old whiskey from a bourbon mash bill. It is bottled at 109 proof (54.5% ABV) and available in an extremely limited direct-to-consumer release for $799. It arrives in a custom Gibson case constructed in the spirit of Gibson’s classic hardshell guitar cases, complete with a co-branded Gibson guitar strap featuring a Hummingbird* detail and two Whiskey JYPSI glasses. Tonewood: The Collective is “a lighter, more lifted expression” also finished with the same toasted maple offcuts and bottled at 103 proof (51.5% ABV). It is available direct-to-consumer at a suggested price of $199 before expanding in limited quantities to select retail partners across the U.S. and arrives in Hummingbird-inspired packaging. Both releases can be ordered at www.whiskeyjypsi.com/pages/gibson.

*Editor’s Note: “Hummingbird” refers to Eric Church’s new Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Eric Church Hummingbird™ Dark, a signature acoustic-electric guitar finished in a moody Cobra Burst with a solid Sitka spruce top and layered mahogany back and sides.

This next one is more of an announcement than a new product release, but it should be of interest:

Black Maple Hill Returns with Three Kentucky Straight Bourbon Expressions

The bottles are beginning to reach control states, with North Carolina listing all three expressions and Oregon listing the 16-Year as a vendor-allocated item.
