New Bourbon Releases News for March 13, 2026
Heaven Hill Heritage Collection 22-Year-Old Bourbon
Heaven Hill Distillery has announced the release of the Heaven Hill Heritage Collection 22-Year-Old Bourbon, the oldest expression in the series since the collection debuted in 2022. The limited release features Heaven Hill’s traditional bourbon mash bill of 78% corn, 10% rye and 12% malted barley, and is bottled at barrel proof and non-chill filtered. The whiskey was distilled in 2003 and aged 22 years on the 5th and 6th floors of Rickhouse Y. The release will launch nationally in limited quantities beginning in early March 2026 with a suggested retail price of $319.99. It is bottled at 129.2 proof. Read the press release here.
Maker’s Mark 2026 Wood Finishing Series: The Stewards Release
Maker’s Mark has announced the 2026 release of their Wood Finishing Series: The Stewards Release, an expression inspired by the distillery’s operations teams who guide the bourbon’s journey from first fermentation to final bottling. The release is the third installment in the second Wood Finishing Series and will be delivered in two batches: one at 59.4% ABV / 109.6 proof and the other at 56.65% ABV / 113.3 proof. Both will be available at U.S. retailers at a suggested MSRP of $74.99 beginning March 9, 2026. Read the press release here.
Augusta Distillery Small Batch and Wheated Single Barrel
Augusta Distillery has expanded their portfolio with the introduction of Small Batch and Wheated Single Barrel, two cask-strength bourbons designed to broaden the distillery’s core offerings. Aged an average of seven years, both expressions are now available online, at the distillery in Augusta, Ky., and in select markets within Augusta Distillery’s 30-state distribution footprint. Augusta Distillery Small Batch Bourbon is crafted from a curated selection of barrels – never more than eight – chosen to maintain depth, structure and consistency without compromising character. Augusta Distillery Wheated Single Barrel Bourbon marks the distillery’s first wheated expression. By replacing rye with wheat, the profile of the bourbon delivers a softer, rounder character while maintaining the structure that defines Augusta Distillery’s standards.
The Small Batch and Wheated Single Barrel were intentionally positioned to be accessible within the Augusta lineup. Small Batch, in particular, offers an entry point into the distillery’s style without sacrificing age, proof or structure. The proofs for these expressions will vary per batch and barrel, and while SRP is $59.99 for the Small Batch and $79.99 for the Wheated Single Barrel, prices on the brand’s website are currently $10 higher ($69.99 and $89.99, respectively). Woodford Reserve’s Derby bottle has been an annual collector’s item since 1999. The one-liter bottle has an SRP of $50 and is available globally starting in March. It is bottled at Woodford’s usual 90.4 proof. Read the press release here.

The bourbon features a mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley with a suggested retail price of $69. It is bottled at 86 proof (according to the bottle label). Read the press release here. Read my review of last year’s release: Larrikin Rosewater Bourbon Review (2025 release).
